Watermark Shower Base Installation Overview

1. Verify framing and floor substrates are level and plumb, check drain pipe location.
2. Have onsite plumber connect the brass drain provided, to the solid surface shower base.
3. Install shower base on 1/4" notched trowel mortar bed
4. Use level at the top of shower base wall step to ensure that the shower base is level.
5. Install shower base protection.

1. Verify installed blocking location requirements for accessories and that wallboard installation is level and plumb.
2. Measure center points of all plumbing penetrations, and transfer onto wall panels to be cut out.
3. Once wall panel penetrations are cut out, install back wall panel with provided silicone adhesive.
4. Install side panels, recessed soap / shampoo holder along with inside and outside corners trims as required.
5. Install shower accessories provided by Watermark. Grab bars, curtain rod, shower seat and removable threshold.
6. Use provided colored silicone for finish caulking of shower panels, corner trims and recessed soap / shampoo holder.
7.  Prepare and clean the shower wall panels with clean white rags and denatured alcohol, before applying shower protection

1. Verify installed blocking location requirements for vanities and determine if a vanity bracket is required
2. Install ledger boards and vanity bracket, to ensure that vanity will be at the proper elevation from finished floor per architectural plans.
3. Install vanity and end splashes with provided silicone adhesive.

1. Verify rough opening in wallboard and determine if there will be any wallcovering or tile on the wall at the location of the recessed shelf.
2. Install recessed shelf by applying silicone adhesive to the back surface of the flange of the recessed shelf.
